Jasmine Li has been involved with music since the age 5 when she started playing Traditional Chinese instruments such as the Pipa and Guzhen. In her early twenties she was inspired by the likes Dj Tiesto and her love for dance music grew. It was not long before she decided to start dj'ing and very soon found herself playing to audiences in the southern parts of China. With residencies in guangzhou an Lan Kwai Fong's C Club, Jasmine was soon discovered by the big league and found herself supporting the DJ LEgends like, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold & Ricky Stone. Currently Jasmine holds down a residency at the legendary Park 97, Now is a new residence Dj in best club M2 .Shanghai Sprinkling her stardust groove with her eclectic mixes blending funky house, straight up house, electro , progressive house, minimal techno. For jasmine its all about progression, not progressive.

    DJ Jasmine Li (Resident DJ: M2, Park97) Shanghai, China       Jasmine Li is a ground breaking artist, whose love for music began at an early age. With an individual sound that breathes desire, Jasmine mixes a funky fusion of Progressive House, Trance, Tech House, Techno, and Electro House.                                     “It’s all about progression, not progressive.”                                                                -Jasmine Li            In her early twenties she was inspired by the likes of DJ Tiesto and her love for dance music grew. It didn’t take long before she decided to learn the art of DJing. She soon found herself playing to audiences in the southern parts of China. With club residencies in the Guangzhou Province and Lan Kwai Fong’s C Club, Jasmine’s notoriety as --“the clubbers DJ”-- became eminent with other regional club promoters.  Sasha: Air Drawn Dagger Tour 2004       In 2004, Jasmine made her touring debut, by playing alongside the likes of Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, and Ricky Stone. Being the only female DJ on the Sasha tour, Jasmine has paved the way for other young aspiring female DJs. As the supporting DJ for both Sasha and Paul Oakenfold, Jasmine’s confidence and ability as a DJ has come full circle.  Shanghai: Resident DJ (M2, Park 97)       Jasmine currently holds down two weekly residencies at Shanghai’s premier Super Muse Clubs: M2 and Park 97. With her residencies at two of Shanghai’s most prestigious clubs, Jasmine Li is one of few selected individuals to headline and share the same stage with many of the world’s elite DJ’s. Performing in front of thousands of party goers this past year, Jasmine has shared the same stage with world class artists: Markus Schulz, Ali Dubfire (Formerly Deep Dish), Armin Van Buuren, Rank 1, Anthony Pappa, and Paul Oakenfold.  Traditional Instruments       While maintaining a busy DJ schedule, Jasmine is also a consummate with two Chinese traditional instruments the Pipa and Guzhen. Her skills and focus of these two instruments has been developed over many years of practice. Her live performances of these two instruments can be heard at M2, along with other guest spot musicians. When she’s not DJing or performing live, Jasmine is busy in the studio working on original music.
